DIY Hay Storage

Hey guys! Today,we're going to show you a simple way to keep your timothy hay stored in an accessible, yet clean device. This device is called...a box! Yep, that's where our timothy hay is. With a few alterations, our box is an excellent way to store hay. Read on to find out more.

In case you didn't know, we live on an "island". Even if your piggies don't live on an island like us, this solution will still work in a cage (which should be big enough for your pigs!). Anyway, here's how we store our hay!\
We like our hay!
Hay should always be readily accessible to us. You can't tell in this photo, but this box has six or so holes in the top big enough for us to stick our noses through and grab some hay. The humans cut out pig-sized entrances on either side of the box so we can go through.

I like to eat, eat, eat!
A few pieces of hay will fall on the ground, but we clean up our own mess.

I can stretch way up high!
Sometimes, instead of sticking our noses through the holes in the top, we just stand on the outside and pick hay off the top.

Eating is hard work.
After all that work, we deserve a little nap. I think I need a nap now. Thanks for reading this post!
